Spent some time at the park tonight after work w my gorgeous girl.
She truly makes all the bullshit not matter at all.

Half the summer left!
I don't know how the time just sneaks by us so quickly! June & July feel like a blur.
Carmen turned 3 in June! Wowo and now it's been 4 years married today. Woah!
We've got a pretty packed August & September so before you know it, the trees will turn bright hues of red and orange and Carm will be planning what she will be for Halloween!
We are heading off to Block Island this weekend with the Martorelli's. 3 straight days of beach, sunshine (hopefully, though it's not looking good) and just good ol' fun with the little rascals Carmen & Ava! I can't wait to get outta dodge.
Next weekend is Gram's 80th birthday so we will take up a show at the Goodspeed.
Mike's 40th Birthday Bash is the following weekend & SHEILA & fam will be in town!!!!
Then we are taking off the 28th-8th to chill at the lake house and John & Sarah & kiddo's arrive on the 8th.
Meanwhile we have a completely gutted downstairs bathroom remodel in progress and still plans to paint the entire house and replace the front deck by the end of summer. Oh. My. Deep breaths!
One day at a time.
Carmen is growing beautifully and each day I am more amazed by her smarts. The things that come out of her mouth just blow me away. The other night she calls to the chickens as they are wandering into the neighbors yard. "c'mere chickens. That's not your property. That's the neighbor with the long white beard." or she tells auntie Katie "Daddy cleaned the upstairs potty with chemicals. Yea & it's not ok to touch it because it's got chemicals on it."
Really this kid? I think I'm gonna have to start writing it all down!
Well anyhow, I will try to come around these parts now and again. Be well & merry.
