2 New Fantastic Dishes

The first is a bluefish in a mustard soy. (this fish was swimming a mere two hours before being cooked!)

The second is the result of the pan seared blue fish in the mustard soy, served with fresh lemon and basmati rice, also freshly fried porgy in a flour/ milk batter.

The third is Lobster Scampi with fresh tomato. Mike pre-cooks the lobster, just slightly and removes all the meat from the shells. Then, in a pan with sauteed garlic and butter, adds lobster, wine, lemon...some more butter and parmesean cheese...just minutes before the pasta is aldente. At the last minute, he sprinkles bread crumb and sliced fresh tomatoes (from our garden) and places the sautee pan in the broiler for 2 minutes.
Serve with a fresh tomato/onion salad.
Are your mouths watering???

A new name. A new Blog!

My sweetheart and I were married Saturday, July 31st 2010 while on vacation in California. We did tell our parents about our last minute plan before we left, but we said nothing to anyone else. It was very hard to keep a secret, yet, it was such a special day between the two of us. We are home now, relaxing after our 10 day vaca in CA. Our wedding took place at sunset on the beach of Point Dume. We are happy to be home and happy to be husband & wife....though it sounds so funny to say out loud!
