"I don't remember were we wild and young
All that's faded into memory
I feel like somebody I don't know
Are we really who we used to be
Am I really who I was"

Arms as wide as "bridge cables"
...just for kicks, old times and walks down memory lane. You, the mad scientist atop a castle in the sky, me, just a girl, liked to read alot. Funny, how we never really appreciate a "moment" inside a moment. I am somewhere, believe it or not, sunny too. I smile alot, when I think of you and your arms as wide as "bridge cables." I hope you are painting pretty pictures today.
Visits with friends
Of course for some ladies who love taking pictures, when we had Sheila, Ireland, Andy, Sean, Christina & Lena to our house last Sunday...you would have thought we would have gotten some great group shots..... Nothing! It was so fabulous to meet little Andy and Eire. They are such beauties. I hadn't seen Ireland since she was 2 months old. They are so big now (4 & 6). As it often does, time moved too quickly and before you knew it, the visit was over. Mike made us all some great eats and we just had a fun time of hanging out. I went to see Sheila before she left and got a few photos of her and the babes. In both the times we got the chance to visit. I don't think for a minute we got caught up on ourselves!! Looks like we have to make a trip to Seattle next time!

Living in disarray
I am not complaining because I consider us lucky. Our aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is insignificant to those that have lost their homes, their lives.
We have been without power since Monday afternoon. We have a well, so that means no water either.
It's now Thursday and the house is a mess. Thankfully, my parents power was restored last night so Carmie got a hot bath and Mommy got a nice long/ hot shower.
Here is our rascal during these days of darkness.
