"Idle time."
When I was a kid, my friends mom wouldn't let her daughter hang out with me anymore because she said I had "too much idle time."
How I only WISH this was the case in my life right now?!
Please read this post. I agree with every single word and up until a few years ago, I truly lived like this. Well into my late 20's life was never about making plans. It was very simply about living for the moment and never too busy for anyone or anything.
Of course with age comes responsibility, but I do believe there is a chance to find some idle time again. I hate nothing more than my days being planned for me, my weeks being entirely booked up with schedules that revolve around work, work and more work.
I am going to at least start by making every effort to turn that damn iphone off at the end of my working day, enjoy my time with my wonderful husband, daughter and family and continue to make time for last minute spontaneous arrangements like a swim in the lake or a late night movie.
