This Sunday morning I awoke early and headed out to photograph Kathleen. We started in a local corn field, then moved to the train tracks and finally the water. Here are some of my personal favorites!
Photos of the moment, inspirations, small mysteries of my daily life & food...lots & lots of food~

Designs by local artist Cathie Bobzin
Not only is Cathie an incredible lady, she also makes hand made, one-of-a-kind jewelry that is beyond stunning. Each piece is hand crafted using the finest silver and gold with precious stones. She also incorporates local raw materials such as sea glass and stone.
You can find Cathie Sunday Mornings at the Chester Farmers Market from 9:00am-1:00pm.
Send me a comment for more information on how you can have Cathie design and create a piece that is unique to you!

Holiday Weekend Drive
Mike and I slept in on our Monday off from work. That was a first in a long while. Only till 9:30am, but still, that's pretty big for us! We had some french toast, scrambled eggs...Ummm. Then I kicked his butt in badminton, the morning doesnt get any better than that:)
Later, we headed up over the bridge, through East Haddam and just got lost on a beautiful day. We stopped off at Devils Hopyard to let Stella go for a swim, stopped at an old Cemetary in Old Lyme (Ely Ferry Rd.) stopped for some Italian ice and then made our way home. It was so relaxful being able to forget the time, even, if only for a day!

4th of July BBQ
We had a great day on Sunday!
Stella was quite tired from all the fun & heat. It was about 90+degrees, but there was a nice breeze. Great food, Great Company and a big surprise from Mike when I got home from work late Saturday night, he painted the back door!
Oh. & Badminton was a HIT! I wish I had a picture of Ryan toppling straight over the neighbors fence!
